File Format & Quality

Supply your artwork as a print-ready PDF wherever possible. High-resolution JPEG, PNG and TIFF files may also be suitable, depending on the product.

For standard printed materials, images should ideally be 300dpi at the final print size. Avoid screenshots or low-resolution images, as these may appear blurred or pixelated.

Embed fonts in your PDF or convert text to outlines to preserve your design.

Size, Bleed & Safe Margins

Prepare your artwork at the correct finished size.

For most standard printed products, include 3mm bleed on every side, extending background colours and images beyond the cutting edge. Keep important text and logos at least 5mm inside the finished edge.

Banners, signage, booklets and other specialist products may have different requirements. Please contact us for guidance before preparing your artwork.
.

Colours & Final Checks

For most commercial printing, prepare artwork in CMYK colour mode. Colours displayed on screens may differ from the finished print.

Check all spelling, names, dates, contact details, image quality and layout before submitting your final file. For booklets, supply pages in reading order unless advised otherwise.

If we send you a proof, please check it carefully before approving it.
